One of the most eye-catching features of Moxy Halifax is the luggage wall, where you’ll see a collection of vintage trunks and suitcases. These are not just random pieces of luggage. They are a tribute to our roots and to the immigrants who came to Canada through Pier 21, the gateway to the country. In fact, our owners Joe and Norman’s fathers both arrived in Canada through Pier 21 in the mid-1960s, from their homeland of Lebanon. They brought with them their hopes and dreams, and their precious belongings, some of which are displayed on this wall.
