A Hidden Surprise
Do you like surprises? Then you’ll love our secret door, which looks like a shelving unit in our lobby, but leads to a special room, which we call the Lion’s Den. This room pays homage to the original Trinity Church, which was located on this property before it became the Moxy Halifax. Inside, you’ll find a cozy and intimate space. You’ll also see some elements of the church, such as stained glass windows, and a chandelier that features parts of the original pipe organ. The secret door and the Lion’s Den are a hidden surprise, and a way to honour the past while creating a new future. If you’re looking for a quiet and cozy place to relax, read, or chat, then the Lion’s Den is for you.
